Thread: Nov/Dec 2009 Lite Challenge Entry - Ruined Temple

Post Nov/Dec 2009 Lite Challenge Entry - Ruined Temple

I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, or even if I'll have time to finish it since I was only just now able to start on it after getting back from New Orleans yesterday.

Regardless, that is what I've got so far.

I don't know what's it's going to be but the parts you've finished sure look cool. Nice textures.

Here's a small update. The main floor is almost complete, then comes the upper level and the crypt underneath. This is turning out to be really tedious work, so I hope it's done in time for the challenge. If nothing else, then main worship center will be complete, and maybe that'll be enough...

The floor looks gorgeous. I hope you have time to finish this.
Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

Ramah- Thanks. I used Overwatch's tutorial.

This is the completed main worship area. It'll eventually go on a background of some sort.

Now, when you're finished with this one, we're going to have to recruit you to do Castle Ravenloft Looks amazing.

Heh.. I've been using the old ad&d Ravenloft map as a reference for this one. Man, that'd be one hell of a project to do the whole castle in this style. I can feel the arthritis setting in just from the little I've done here!

    Hooray for double posting!

The crypt is finished. I know I should've randomized the sarcophagi, and probably should've smashed up the lids on a few of them... but alas, I didn't, and I'm not going back to fix it now.

Here's a general layout of how it's going to look. I think the upper level will consist of two small balconies on either side that the royalty would have used to observe the goings-on down below. That was a long time ago of course--now it's just a nice place to hide a few zombies.

It's looking a little more complete now. I still have the observation rooms to do, but I think I can get them finished in time.

    C&C welcome, as always.
