Well, I must say I am very impressed. Way beyond anything I could do with the original map texture and colour wise. I will stick to my own version in black and white. Absolutely fantastic - I never imagined it would look so good.

I'm glad you approve It was a great shape for the coastlines and a real pleasure to work with!

    I concurr!

Historyhead it was like you reached into my imagination and pulled out what I couldn't visualize. As I told you in PM, when I saw that map I KNEW I was looking at Aeran!

As for the labeling, I am about 70% done, should be finished by Monday.

Actually if one of the CL's wants to move this thread to the WIP area, I would not object.

Looking back, that would seem more appropriate Sorry, will think things like this through better in the future. I was just all excited since my part of the project was done

That mosaic compass rose screams awesomeness. Very cool.

The whole map is great, even without labels.

Cereth: Thanks, heh. Seems like everyone loves that compass, I'm guessing because it's so different. In all honesty, I had actually tacked it on as an afterthought

I uploaded a version of the map with partial labeling done to one of my webspaces.

I used the zoomify export from photoshop, so it should be rather easy to peruse instead of waiting for the whole 10 megs or so
