    Post test map

I've been playing around with Tear's awesome tutorial for the past week or so, and this is what I've come up with so far. It is definitely opening up new techniques and avenues for me.

This map isn't very big...I've really just been using it to test things out. This is about the third map I've tried with Tear's tutorial, and with each one I've spent a little more time on and have gotten a little bit better. I've probably spent about 6-7 hours on this one so far.

It looks pretty good, follows Tear's style very closely. The only flaw I noticed, is that some of the compass lines going out in opposite directions from the roses are not straight.

Looks very cool so far, man.

Hey, what's that font? I'd like to snag that for my maps...

Looks quite nice. I am envious. I like the color use and that the ocean is given a good feel of depth.

I like it a lot. The colors are pleasing to the eye, and it is a good blend of colors. The hills and mountains have a good style and smooth transitions, and the coastlines look natural.

    Looking forward to more.
