Post Test of CC3 - Island map

Ok, here is a test I did after following a tutorial. This is my 2nd map I have done. Normally I do Space Ship deck plans. I know there is lots of room for improvement, but I'd appreaciate some feedback.

    Thanks

Well this is a teaser...I can't zoom in to look at the nifty little things you have there. I want to go look at the lighthouse, and the rocks jutting up from the sea. Is my zoomer busted?

I think this is CC3 yes? Is there a way to mellow out the mountain base so the grasslands start/end more subtly? I don't know a thing about cc3 so I haven't a clue.

The rivers look right to me but then I'm not a river cop. I'm more of an otter

    Thanks for sharing.

Looks good. I too would love to see a higher res version.

Yes this is CC3. I can mellow out the mountain base more. Thanks for the input. I'll post a new pic in a few.

Here is a Hi Res version.

I also have toned down the mountain background a bit to make it blend better.

    Thanks Jaxilon

That toning-down around the mountains looks really nice. Is there a way that you can maybe stuff some trees in the open space between mountains? Or maybe some hills. Pretty good for just learning the software.

I'd say that looks pretty good. I think blending the terrain helped.

You might try what Ascension said and stick a tree or three in around the mountains so long as it doesn't make it too cluttered.

Consider whether you really want to use an overused font for your labels.
