    Hey I was just playing around with Sketchup and I thought Hey lets make a katana; for I have never made one before. And so, two days later, this was the result.

    very nice!
    maybe you should now work in the "grip" part of the sword, as they have something wrap to help hold it

    My goodness, it looks the size of a mountain

    I guess it's just that grass effect beneath it...or maybe too many Rum & Cokes, hehe.

    That mountain effect is reduce is you look at the last pic.

    its a Gundam size katana

    forgot to mention, i like the simple tsuba (the round guard thing). have seen some really elaborate tsuba, but the simple ones are the best, IMO

    Looks like a really good model. If you render it in a good raytracer and add a few simple background elements for contrast and interest, you'd have an outstanding scene.

    oh, you could do a dojo floor. i think it would create a very good atmosphere to the katana
