What an absolute stunner. I hope you're going to post this in the finished maps forum when you're done. I'd love to see screenshots of stages in the map's development. Lovely imagination too, like the howling heads - my favourite. Really beautiful and atmospheric.

Good stuff DJ. I'm working on a black and white map myself right now so maybe I can steal some forests from ya.

hi all, thanks for the nice C&C! Really helps keeping morale up I have done some more linework (not done by far tho) and started experimenting with colors to get a fitting pallete. i posted a version in the size i work with.

@LonewandererD: its all in handdrawn stuff in PS. Inspiring someone with a map is really the best compliment one can get I think, so thanks.
@Ghostman: not sure what you mean with lefthanded people (does Sinisteria have some meaning i dont know of? english is not my native language
@torstan: as you can see in the post i have been meddling with colors so aye it will be colored
@Ascension: feel free to grab some forest but am afraid i havent completely mastered forests yet and I hope i can get them better in the next version

next is more linework, tuning of colors and start experimenting with labels... cheers

Far more imaginative than I'll ever be, you'll be catching up to Torstan. I love your detail like the castle in the lower left and the Easter Island heads, etc. The castle on the right might need a lil bit of dark color around it in order to pump up the contrast and make it stand out a bit more.

Oh wow. My jaw literally dropped. I never even thought of doing a 3D map like that. Something I might have to have a go at myself!

I thought it looked cool when it was hand drawn. Now it is cool beyond cool!
