    Post Western Anneira

I did this map a couple of months ago and forgot to post it! I tried for something more antique-y and stylized with this, inspired by Ascension's antique map tutorial. The mountain brushes are from Vandy, and the forest brushes are from Starkat (I think...). Kudos to both of you!

The culture of this continent is roughly analogous to 18th century Europe, specifically France (Aventine Empire), Scandinavia (the northern kingdoms), and an English/Italian fusion (the Hundred Houses and the Maritime Republics). This is a time where the old regimes are slowly starting to crumble and more liberal republican governments are taking over; the Aventine Empire is still ruled by a powerful hereditary emperor, but even his control is starting to slip. In the south are the Sardashi Kulganate and its vassal states, semi-theocratic empires which are on a bit of a cultural upswing and are competing with the northern realms.

Looks pretty good. I'd change that white stroke to match the paper color on the land, kind of tan-ish, but otherwise looks nice. Was going to rep ya but I have to owe ya instead.

Very nice. Only complaint I have is that the dude on the bottom left has letters across his portrait, something that might be regarded as an affront to the person.
