    This map is basically a style test.

    Pencil on paper, scanned, coloured and textured in PS.

    The style definitely works for me!

    Neat idea, and well executed.

    But to be honest, just doesn't appeal to me all that much.

    I think with more experience and playing around I can improve the style.

    I like the style a lot, but the lettering seems a bit too clean for the handdrawn style IMO.

    Let us assume that the cartographer called in a precise calligraphy specialist to ensure legible text. Some individuals have very consistent lettering.
