    Post Drawing roads without overlapping stroke intersections [Vector apps]

    This is an old trick but I thought it might be worth posting for those who have not come across it before.

    When using CC2 and drawing roads in the form of stroked paths, intersections look ugly as the stroked paths overlap. To get the effect below, do the following:

    Create a new layer called 'Roads Black' and draw your roads in black to the required width. Copy the entire layer to a new layer 'Roads White'. Select all the entities on Roads White and decrease the width of the roads by a little bit and change the colour to white so you have a slightly narrower white path sitting on top of the black paths.

    The roads below were done in Microsoft word but the principle is the same:
