    Default Pleased to meet you

    Hello there!

I've just joined the guild, hoping to get some useful tips and inspiration for mapmaking in both my pen-and-paper and MapTools based RPG campaigns.

Read though a few tutorials and tried the GIMP regional map tutorial just to get a feel for the GIMP (outstanding tutorial by the way!).

Very happy to see the tone and helpfulness of these forums.

Hi Jeppe, welcome to the guild. Good choice on GIMP by the way. Oh and just so you're aware, RobA and some of the other Guild members have scripted some plug-ins that are really helpful for map-making in GIMP (you can find them in the "Mapping Elements" sub-forum). Looking forward to seeing your first WIP.
