==The Story
Here is Shadow Crest. A farming community grown on the site of an unknown and abandoned outpost. Only a small few in all of Westfall know the secrets of The Black Tower and its dreadful history. What will become of Shadow Crest and its inhabitants?

==Where it started
This is my first go at a villiage map. It is the centre of a story at mate of mine started on Dnd 4e. I stumbled across a mountains Utube vid from CG and as a result have taken the crappy hand sketches and turned them into something I hope is worthy of a Finished Map post.

From that utube vid I started using GIMP and then realised what CG was. A little over a month has passed and here is the fruit of my labour and the wealth of resources within CG.

The techniques used evolved from tutorials by the likes of RobA and Ascension combined with hours of playing with GIMP toosl and effects.
