    Oh great, I always love those maps in guide books. They have a bit of a different take on the sort of maps we make but I think they are all highly relevant. The way some of them highlight information with scale stretching and little pictograms is great.

    I had to buy maps for my Arizona book, but what I did do was create all my own location maps. These are the tiny maps that show the location of a museum or race track as well as surrounding roads and Interstates. I did this all in Adobe Illustrator. I still need to buy full city & country maps for my Germany book..but will continue to make my own little maps!
