    Wip Caribbean WIP

Hey, all. So this is a map I've started, to help me do the following: work with real-life geography for a change, and focus on layout and labeling and landmasses rather than mountains and rivers, which are still fairly challenging for me. To give it that fantasy twist, the place-names and general look with be historical, perhaps from the age of piracy. Sound fun? I thought so.

Thanks again to you all; without the tips, tricks, and techniques I found here at the Guild, I wouldn't be able to do any of this.

    Wip now with rhumb lines!

And this is step 2? I got a little carried away between posts...

That is beautiful! Nice use of the rhumb lines; they really make the whole thing pop.

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to see if I could create something quickly, but still make something which felt lovingly crafted, and antique. Glad to know the textures and rhumb lines are working for me.
