thx for the comments , indeed shadow for the tree's is on my "to do list" :p but seeing as i forgot to add it to my pattern i would have to put it down manually ... and that will take some time :p ...

so atm its been refiles as a "to do" project :p ...

about the lakes , yeah i was trying to go for lines tbh .. but i couldn't get a pattern that looked quite liek i wanted and drawing them by hand couldn't give me the crisp dark lines the mountains had so eventually i just settled on this effect ... its noit realy what i would like but cant seem to find a guide for another satisfactory solution ...

I was thinking of maybe doing those inner lines but haven't found a guide for that :p ...

    After a little "fiddeling"

decided to reduce some mountaisn in top right and left of the map ..

enlarged my swamp to encompass a lake..

made an unique tree to in the archipelo of sigmars tear ^^

added a compass / warning to the map

and made the lakes resemble a more hand drawn style then before ..

    Nice map. I like. Kudos

Not that it really applies to the map. The only thing I would look at is the rough edges on your paper. There are some nice tears but it looks like termites have nibbled their way round the entire page. It is probably not worth the effort but really is the only crit I can put forward. Hail to "The Horned Rat"

PS: Dont fiddle too much it will fall off!

So much better - the new three, the lakes fit it nicely ... I'm wondering a little about the compass rose, the letters and the rose don't really match up - try either highligthing the rose or "lowlighting" *lol* the letters

I actualy already "lowlighted" the letters :p it was botherign me to lol .. but last night it didnt realy show itself ot me :p now that its lowlighted the letters fit better with the rose.

again thx for your comments people it been verry helpfull to have objective opinions about it , because when your drawing it after a while you tend to loose to objectivness hehe ^^

im realy pleased with this first atempt ^^

next wil be Krogersdorf / Izenhart Hold mapping of the actualy village :p

I liked the composition. It has plenty of detail, without getting confusing. I would just some folding marks, but that's purely a matter of taste.

I'm not dead yet! I am just facing some unusual, painful lack of time. *sigh* Why didn't I was born rich?
