    You know, I remember when a secretary on the place I used to work at, asked if we could place her website on the server. It was all done in Excel. But I bet, the network diagrams would beat her website any day of the week

    I can't knock it as a quick-fix proceedure - I've used the same trick myself before now to rough-out relay room floor plans and cubicle organisations where relative positions were more important than scale .

    i am paper and pen fan myself....
    colored pen and marker more specifically...
    when not at work that is......
