    Default Another new guy!

Hi everyone - another new member here it. Going by the name Legiazus and hailing from Denmark, I'm a RP enthusiast (having played mostly D&D in the past, but now moving on to GURPS - one can find me by the same name in the GURPS forums) and world-builder, currently in the process of creating a new setting for my upcoming fantasy game. A bit of a newbie when it comes to mapping on my computer, but that I wish to change. I look forward to many good times here!

    Cheers!

Heya and welcome to the Guild. My group's usually D&D (now Pathfinder) but we play GURPS (4E) from time to time. I'm prepping an adventure right now, in fact, to run when our other DM gets tired of running her current adventure. It's an Infinite Worlds adventure (sort of like the Sliders TV show) but we've played Traveller, Firefly, zombie apocalypse, etc. using the system as well. Be interested to hear what you're running/playing...and in seeing your maps for it. Maybe we'll draw out some other GURPS fans...I don't know of any here on the forums.

Cool, Infinite Worlds! When I get a bit more accustomed to GURPS (and get some more money to buy some sourcebooks...), I have thought about running one such as well, but for now, the scale kind of scares me. And yeah, it seems most people on gaming forums are primarily d20 players.

Well, this fantasy campaign is very D&D-inspired in tone, but it is not a dungeon crawler. The setting is kind of like Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire, with the new powers trying to find their place in the world. I have made a rough sketch of the map for the setting's main continent and would sure like to get some feedback.
