Thread: March/April Entry: Tribute to Wacom

Default March/April Entry: Tribute to Wacom

Because I can't think of a relevant title.

I just got a tablet, and this'll be my first map with it. I've fooled around with it a little bit and surprisingly found that I could actually draw better with it than I could on paper. So amazing.

Oh yeah, the map. The basic idea is a huge, water-filled cavern with an island in the centre where there's a city. The map itself will be the notes of a human explorer.

Great stuff. Looking very nice indeed, and great to have another entrant into the challenge.

    Love the hand drawn look.

Uh oh, another budding master here. Nice work so far.

I like the concept and the drawings are great! I assume the page texture (with the shaded line in the center) is intended to make it look like book-pages, right? if so i like the effect ... cheers!

Nice to know the book-shading works. Here's some more stuff. How's the fading look on this one?

Here's how it looks without the fading, by the way.

Working on an isometric 'inset' map, showing the surrounding area. I've still got side-tunnels and labels to do.

Do my elevation markings make sense here?
