Good news for all Slartibartfass' and friends: daz3d just published a personal learning edition of Bryce 7. According to the publisher, its not crippleware but a full working edition with the only limitation that it can't be used for commercial purposes. A Pro edition with some more advanced features does also exist (same license model like daz3d studio). Didn't use it though (has Bryce 5.5) but will go to download it now. According to bryce-board.de, Bryce 7 seems to be a bit unstable. Look at http://www.daz3d.com/i/software/bryce7?_m=d
This is good news. I like to You Dez Studio and always wanted to try Bryce out, but couldn't affor it.
