    Default Jquery paralax demo

So I ran across this: http://webdev.stephband.info/parallax.html

And a couple of the demos looked like they could get used with mapping....

Image a city map with mupltiple building levels: http://webdev.stephband.info/parallax_demos.html

Imagine a space sector map with system layers framed inside this grid: http://webdev.stephband.info/parallax_demos_target.html

All iot needs are transparent images...

That's really interesting. You could certainly have a couple of low opacity cloud layers over the top that animate as the mouse is moved around.

    Great idea!

it would be real neat to have the labels as a slightly larger layer so they would appear to float above the map, too!

That's amazing!!!! Great Find RobA! The multiple building level application of it sounds really interesting to me.
