    Hi,

    any other vector graphics programs such as Canvas or Illustrator, Draw plus, etc..

    I used to use CorelDraw and recently switched to Illustrator. There are a couple of Inkscape users here, too.

    Here's an example of a map I made… well, copied really, a couple of months ago in Illustrator:
