Post Dungeoncrafter web page is virus-infested

Just a warning: The index page at dungeoncrafter3.com has been hijacked by a virus. The other pages on the website, including the download page, appear to be intact. The Google cache is currently clean, but in the event that it caches the virus page, here's the download page: http://www.dungeoncrafter3.com/download.php

You sure? I ran a few tests at it and it seems to come up clean?

Just to be safe I have disabled the main link in the list.

It must have gotten cleaned up pretty quickly, then. Good to know that someone's on the ball! I got a spammy "Your computer is infected!" page, and Norton shot me some warnings. It appears to be fine now, though.

Possibly it hit several accounts on the same web server, and the admin just rolled back to a recent backup.

You're sure that YOU're not infected? I seem to remember a trojan that causes popups (somewhat randomly) in IE and Firefox form a few months ago... might be worth a check.

My first thought exactly. The last time I got popups it was my computer that was infected. Pretty nasty bug to get rid of also.

Quite sure. I'm very careful, and I run virus and adware scanners regularly.

I can't say for certain, but I don't think this is the first time that has occurred on the DungeonCrafter site. I seem to remember encountering a similar problem some months back that disappeared rather quickly as well.

As for that trojan "pop-up" virus, there have been several that made the rounds. I got hit by one, but was lucky enough to be able to clear it manually. Still, it's always a good idea to be careful.
