Texture maker

I just downloaded texturemaker, http://www.texturemaker.com/help/index.htm I've been looking for a decent but simple app to create grass and ground textures and the like. Does anyone have experience with this app or can recommend another hopefully freeware one? I've tried MapZone but the interface boggles my mind. ;)

I have no experience with Texture Maker but you can also try the Genetica viewer (http://spiralgraphics.biz/)

Thankis i got it, i like the ability to change the look via the random seed without building another from scratch

Yeah it's a nice program (especially for free), I use it all the time.
