I seem to be in a "hand drawn" olde tyme map mode lately. I guess it's all the "old school" talk going on. after reading IG's post about needing a map for his players this came to my head. I used to love getting the olde tyme style maps from my DM with just enough information to navigate whatever area we were in. I also was thinking that if the players were to either draw this themselves or aquire it it would most likely be drawn in a "simpler" style. I think it fits what I was going for and even if it doesnt make it to the CWBP I'm sure it will find a home somewhere.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
