Re-working a map
I am in the process of remapping my Marash city map, and I am planning to use some of the heightmapping stuff from Jezelf's tutorials.
Unfortunately, at the moment, I am struggling to work out how to adjust the scaling of the cloud generation part to work at a town level as opposed to a region/continental level.
Does anyone have any advice on this?
Should I create a staged heightmap by hand, starting at black and adding increasing lighter grey tones (80% grey, 70% grey and so forth)?
