Cliffside Adobe Mesa [unnamed]: Commission WIP
I'm working on this as requested here and the client agreed to have the WIP posted so here goes.
This is reduced by about 1/3 of it's size. I have to fill in more buildings next.

looks great jax... I just thought you had a little Escherness going there until I saw that it wasn't a platform but a downward slope from the plateau... but I'm guessing that will show a lot better after you get around to shading it

Nicely done.... the cliff, etc. is fantastic, though at this early stage the buildings are a bit plain.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
