Thread: First Maps! (World: Spritos & City: Iron Rock)

I have been drawing maps as long as I can remember. My school books were always sketched with maps of islands, cities, whatever my imagination would see fit to generate during a boring math class. I grew up with a globe in my hands as much as a remote control or hockey stick. I went on to complete a degree in social sciences (maj. geography, min. history).

Fast forward a little bit and I find this site. I absolutely love it!

Attached are two different maps. One I made over a year ago after first finding this site (the world map). The second, a WIP, that I started yesterday. This one is a city I have named "Iron Rock" and is located where the red arrow is pointing on the world map.

I'm not too fussy on the trees (couldn't get that figured out), so I will probably change them.

Anyway, looking forward to showing off work, and especially, viewing all the work you guys put up!
