What an astounding talent you have, sir. All told (minus the breaks to post of course) how long does something like this take? It seems equals parts talent, devotion, patience, brilliance
I think it's taken about 6 or so hours so far. Maybe more. I'm not sure. When I focus on stuff, I sorta lose track of time. That's why I avoid putting anything in the oven when I'm drawing. =P
Also what is uploaded is only half the size of what it actually is so it's actually bigger.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

Thankyou. The coloured version may be a while coming, I have this regional map I am determined to finish in the meantime and colouring this thing will be a huge project.
