Here is an updated image of the map. I like the look of 'White' buildings outlined with black, and find it is better to see the individual buildings.

My untrained eye thinks that the labels for Castle Street and Merchant Street are too wide. That is, the words are too far apart and don't look like they're associated with one another.

Is East at the top of this map? There's nothing to indicate that except the names of the roads.

Yeah, east is at the top (guess I should put a compass rose on the thing).

The white buildings outlined in black do look very nice.

And they have the added benefit of making that guy who bashed CC2 in his article about mapping eat crow.

I really like the white buildings too. But I wonder if you need the text glow now that you've lightened the background colour?

Here is an Update of the White Building Map. I have added a scalle BAr and a North Indicator, as well I reduced the Glow on the street label.

    Looking great!

Suggestion: If you can easily do it, try changing the colour of the walls and towers from black to a dark colour (brown perhaps?). The black is a bit heavy for me and really dominates the map (which is great if you want it to, but if not...then a colour change may work).

Changing the walls took about 10 minutes cause I wanted to outline so needed to do a copy and change propeties on the copied entities (love CC3 ease of use).

So, here is a NEW update of the town.
