From a Land Mask to Terrain with Wilbur

http://www.ridgenet.net/~jslayton/Fu...ol4/index.html has a discussion on converting a basic black-and-white mask into a terrain map. It's the general technique used in http://www.cartographersguild.com/mapping-challenge-archive/4676-march-entry-excess.html as my part of the March 2009 challenge.

Oh hey, I didn't even know about the mound feature. I feel stupid now. Thanks for helping me learn something today.

I barely remember the stuff that's built into Wilbur and the documentation ranges from out of date to nonexistent so I wouldn't feel too bad about it. I was originally going to do this with the Select>>Modify>>Distance operation but it was broken (and is now fixed in v1.69 released today).
