Hello,

This is my first serious attempt at map making. I reviewed a number of tutorials before trying this and ended up following Arsheesh's tutorial. Looking for feedback. This is a reimagining of the world for my RPG Lycadican which is undergoing pretty heavy revision. Admittedly I'm not 100% satisfied with it but this is my first try. Based on any feedback I'll go forward with a second attempt before doing things like drawing borders, cities, places of interest, etc.

Looks good! I think the shape and colours hang together really nicely.
If this is at the scale of the whole world, then perhaps the rivers are a little wide? They look like they're on a tighter scale than the rest of the map.

I'll have a look at the bump maps. I did do them but perhaps I did them incorrectly?

Thanks for the feedback. It's not the entire planet, but it is a major portion of continents.
