    Map Hofingknall Mine (+ cave)

This is my very first isometric map, hooray

This is a piece for my own manuscript named "Teacup".
It is the inside of a mine which ends in a cave, and the portal at the end of it is said to lead to the fountain of youth. Beware before you travel there, because the whole mountain is said to be cursed!

I made this by hand using watercolors and an ink pen. You can read the WIP here.

Nice first stab on the isometric style! They can be a handful. I like the colors and the design of the piece. I see you have no rep yet, allow me to remedy that.

Oh, and your avatar is really cute!

    Thanks again
I painted her a few years ago and thought she was so sweet that she has followed me around as an avatar on quite a few sites since then

A watercolor/ink isometric map? Win. That's so beyond my skill set I can't even begin to critique it, but I know I love it. Great colors, cool layout, and the room simply titled "Bats!" made me chuckle.

    Hihi. Thank you

There are a few elements that I would do differently if I was to try again, the list of rooms could look better for example, but I am actually very pleased with the way it ended up looking once I painted the colors. It was absolutely more fun than I had imagined and did not take as much time as I thought it would. I will definitely continue making maps
