    Map My first map

    This is my first map, I know that the background is white, I made the mistake of drawing everithing over a painted layer, but it isn't that bad

    Have some rep. It's on the simple side, but I think it looks pretty good. I like the trees and mountains and their relative sizes give the mountains a real sense of largeness. It could use a compass and scale to really call it complete, though.

    I actually like the look of the map with the white and everything...if it were me, I would change anything.

    Instead of using a white glow around the text I'd use a fat white stroke - gives a nice sharp edge, like a cut-out, instead of the blurry trees. Stick a city and some roads in there and you're about done.
