Hi.
Long term rpg'er.
Have most of my area maps in Openoffice Draw or on paper right now.
Recently started using Gimp to try and replace a lot of maps that were stolen (and almost certainly ended up in a trash can somewhere... sigh).

Welcome to The Guild, lots of great stuff here to check out, more that you can shake a stick at. I was thinking about getting OpenOffice but didn't like the size of the download. Now that I know that it has a draw app I might just go ahead and dl it. Is it any good?

Welcome aboard!
I've never heard of anyone using draw for anything like that.
Ascension: Open office is really worth it. Much lighter, easier and more efficient than MS Office.
A 131mb download for 6 programs? I download tv-shows bigger than that every day!
Yeah OO is very good - not sure about using it for mapping tho.
