    Default Hill Castle

I decided to try something a little bigger in Steffan's style this time. This is a hill castle located near a ruined city (which I'm also working on but is going to take a while because it is isometric).

So far I have done the basic plan and now have all the detailing to do. I have also included the sketch I did of the castle first.

Very clean, cool angle, I dig it.

Great job. Can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

After several days of... err... festivities I finally managed to work on this some more. Just got the shading and labeling to do next.

Looking really good, Larb. Will you also add colour?

Probably not. I'll just keep it greyscale I think. Partly down to laziness - I don't have to agonise over a suitable palette. =P

The style suits B&W (with grey shade) very well. I've actually jumped in the bandwagon and made a commisioned map for Wastburg RPG in this style and it works great for some inside books. Great job Larb! Do you plan to add the perspective view, that would make a nice composition !
