    Wip Enhancing a scribble

    Hello,
this is my first thread here, presenting a hand-drawn map by myself.
To be sincere it's more a scribble than a map, since I made it with only blue and black pens and a dark green marker in about an hour.
So I decided to enhance it in Gimp - in fact it's my first exp with it.
    The continent is called Harvint.
    Critics and advice appreciated.

Here are rough scan and WIP with coloured forests.

Now I'm working on the coastline. I know - I should've started with it.

So far so good. Nothing jumps out at me but this is still early. Just keep at it and let's see what you come up with
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

It's scribbly for now but I like the overall layout of the continent. Looking forward to seeing it progress.

    Wip Coastline

Finally an update, I thought I would have enough time to work on the map, but I had been wrong.

The coast is outlined now. And I realised my mistake - I browse the tutorials, but I don't read them. What a shame!

    Next step - rivers.

The coastline seems very smooth, if that's intended then ignore this, otherwise I'd make it a bit more 'jaggedy'.
