Map Map for a Book.... That is being published

Okay, okay, it is only being published as on-demand and locally, but it was an honest to goodness paid gig. Anyway... the map is for a future city to be made when the water reserves all dry up in the US Southwest.

The text is all Lorem Ipsum crap, but the idea is that this is one sheet in a package of sheets. Enjoy...

Interesting, I am not sure I understand the latin though...why does the text have to be in latin?

the text isn't latin its what is known as "placeholder text" - ie text that just shows where text will be. Traditionally that was made with putting in Dante's For good and evil until the real text was ready. Nowadays its just fake latin that is computer generated

And where would I know that from?
I just got spooked at the sight of latin, I was like wth, you don't need to know latin in order to store water, unless your a priest and its holy water)

PS: can I please get some rep for this last joke, just kidding, I will make a map instead

    Gidde: Thanks

Tilt: concerning the legend, I asked about that with the client, but the client wanted more of the illustration than the "map-centric" elements. Thanks for the comments.

Ravells: I was extremely happy with how the illustration came out... the original is in color, I should find and post that image as well... in fact .... attached now

TheSilentOne: Lorem Ipsum is a fun thing to use occasionally. Sometimes with filler text I actually write something ludicrous.

    Thanks for looking folks
