Hi, and welcome!
I use Campaign Cartographer 3 as well and I am interested to see your work.
Hi all, I'm Kroy and I don't really make maps.
Well, I do, they're just not terribly good.
My cartographer impulse comes largely from a deep interest Table top roleplaying games. I enjoy creating original settings but I'm never comfortable using them unless I have a pretty vast amount of information I can offer the players, maps included. So usually I wimp out and use pre-made campaign settings or copy someone else's work.
Recently I decided to take the plunge and start a game in a totally original (insofar as anything is totaly original) setting. I've since played around with several map making software and found that I really like Cartogarpher 3 and Fractal Terrains. I sometimes use Fireworks also for more specific jobs.
Anyway, as part of my game preparation I had really cool (really ambitious) idea that I will be sharing in more detail (probably in the Software Discussion forum).
