Just realized that I should have made some of the mountains snowy. I'm not exactly the snow expert but I hope it's good enough.

Looks really nice. The green of the grasslands seem to contrast very much with the blue of the water, but I am colorblind so do not take my judgement for this :-) It's a cool map either way!
Thanks alot for your comment. I do realize the colours are a bit bright but I think I like it that way. I think it will be better result when printed.

that's a great map Carnifex! love the eastern mountains. the grass could be a little desaturated but personally i like the 'fresh' spring look to it. as for the snow its a bit pixelated compared to the other terrain so maybe you can have it blend in a little more using a softer brush and/or a little opacity. cheers
Yeah, good map. You can be proud of it and thanks for sharing.
Check out my City Designer 3 tutorials. See my fantasy (city) maps in this thread.
Gandwarf has fallen into shadow...
I myself love rich vibrant colors (though I also really enjoy more subdued hues in Atlas style maps), so by my lights this map looks darn good Carnifex. Also, you seem to have carved out your own unique style of map-making. Great job, and repped.
Cheers,
