    Default Hey

I have just started DMing for Dungeon and Dragons and so far its very enjoyable I have bought most of all the books slowly collecting all of them. But my major issue is my city's they are very big and dymantic in my head. I am an aerospace engineer and not too much of an artest when it comes to things like making city's which is strange. I am make parts and all but making my idea for a city look good is an issue.

So after looking around the web I found this site to help me with my dreams to give my players a better world to play on

welcome to the guild, cities are hard to make so, but very rewarding when succesfull - check out the tutorials, and check out Ravells signature, there is a link to a document about city generation ... and remember to post in the WIP section when you're ready for help and critique

Don't forget DnD is about roleplaying, not about books. You really don't need most of them, in my opinion.

oh oh....someone setting themselves up for a lot of heart ache

One thing you will learn VERY quickly, there is ALWAYS be something on your map you can tweek just that li'l bit more to make it better. Trust me I know.....which is why I have only finished 1 (ONE) map in all the time I have been here. Started many, posted few, finished one. By the way, I believe that it has been said before, but post as often as you can during your mapping ventures. The BEST way to get as close to "perfect" as you can.
