That's absolutely stunning! Was it made for anything in particular? My favorite part is the little Roman legions being led by a little Julius Caesar...but I wasn't aware that they invaded the British Isles on elephants; Carthaginian mercenaries perhaps?

nope. i don't even know if romans ever used elephants, but i'd say no.
but i'm sure caesar didn't (i read his de bello gallico again and again).
that was my only question, because it's the only detail historically incorrect. apart from that, i agree it's an amazing work!
