I added in some 'roughness' for terrain irregularities, as well as some color and rivers, etc. Next up will be mountains, I think.
I loved those Lone Wolf books by Joe Dever, and have always wanted to try my own version of the world they're set in, Magnamund.
Here's a start. I put this together by cobbling together some of the maps from the books and a couple found online, then tracing a B&W base over them. I haven't decided what style I want to do this in yet. Right now I'm leaning towards a semi-realistic look, maybe with mountain chains drawn using Pasis' technique.

Geeze.. You did that in 2 hours. Im in awe.
It wasn't as hard as it looks. PS clouds and difference clouds to the rescue.
Ill keep that in mind
Congrats! That's a pretty nice basis for an excellent piece of work there.
The river delta in the west seems a lil' bit odd, though. I have to admit that this river entanglement confuses me being told that rivers never cross or split within the various river threads in the forum.
Sorry to mention that ;-)

Judging from the huge fault going diagonally across the map, I'd say that what looks like a delta is more likely a badlands that has been partially submerged or shattered chunk of terrain that's cracked below sea level.
Well, that whole area is one huge swamp, but from what I remember of the books, yeah, it's earthquake-shattered and partially sunken. Don't blame me for the geography.
Haha nice, looks like a great start Diamond, can't wait to see what else you got under your sleeve for this one!
