: D Thanks Diamond and Eilathen. Added compass, title, a few words from the author and some informations about alternate cities names. I think I can call it done.

This look really great, I especially like the forest. How did you do them?
When I see this months contributions I'm glad I don't have the time to join in. All maps looks fantastic.

Thanks Clercon the forest are some patterns of my own on which I apllied a combination of overpainting and filters then I turned them into new patterns. Once some several blocks patterns are cloned on the map I make some slight dark area on a new layer under the forest one. then I apply 2 highlights made with a custom brush (same color but pressure, opacity and size of the brush different on the 2 highlights). Hope that's clear :/
Lol, I was thinking about getting into this challenge after so much time away, but then I see this and go like "Nah, nevermind."
A very good map -Max-, love this mountain and forest style. Too bad I haven't read the books yet =/

thanks much Beoner but come on, let's join in! Btw the Leiber's books about Nehwon and Lankhmar telling the adventures of Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser are quite old, the first one was published in 1976 (and were written way before that time) if I recall well but it's a reference in sword and sorcery style. The setting was adapted weveral times for D&D and AD&D over the years and lately for the Runequest survival in 2007.
Thanks for explenation Max. Sounds complicated, but I think I've got the idea of what you do. And most of all, I think I might be able ro work something out of it that I can use myself.
