If that's the "light aspect", well I didn't want to go with something that could be distracting since the map isn't that big. On small sizes, that could overwhelm the map.

Great stuff. I don't usually find house maps as interesting as regional or city maps, but this one I really like The border fits nicely imo, doesn't distract, just gives a subtle framing and focus.

Very nice! You're a talented cartoonist. I love your bags, very easy to recognize (and probably because I wouldn't have known how to draw this ).

Colors are excellent and well balanced, as always. I think the border is here to give the feeling that the map is part of a book, right?

Kind of, the RPG book has some paper texture with faded frames similar to this.

oh that explains it... i think i was trying to look at the paper/parchment/border as part of a book, and I was looking at the map as like ... a game *board*..

Really, when you see this map, you're thinking "gameboard"?

Yes. Sort of. (words mean what I want them to mean!)

I picture laying it out on the table and moving things around in it... is that wrong? D:

I can almost see it with slight ridges where the walls and objects are so that my toy-people have to move around them.

Everything *outside* the building, I see in a book form ...

Ya'll have no idea how weird I see things...

I'm starting to see that Anyway the brewery is one of element of the central plot in the book's setting.
