    Dremel.jpg It's an engraving bit. I'm not sure of the exact size, it came in the kit of my Dremel 300 series. I'm using the plunge router collar on it, with the adjustable depth gauge so I can set it to not go too deep into the wood.

    Been real busy all week with work, but did some burning today. I guess this is how the mountains are going to be displayed on my map. What do you guys think?

    Looks nice, though I'm gonna say you should make it a 3d terrain map instead

    Been a while, took a break from burning and got some stain for the ocean. For whatever reason, I only bought one 1.5" brush, so I can't get to any of the small spots, which make up like half of the ocean. I'll probably invest in some small foam brushes later this week. The stain color turned out real nice, and my fear of not having a smooth enough surface with the chiseling/sanding turned out to be better, as the stain has soaked in to different spots unevenly, creating a wave pattern. Perfect, since this is an ocean.
