Looks time-consuming, and heaps of fun! Nice job on the tents btw.

Hey folks! I'm currently working on a commission for Järnringen, a swedish roleplaying company.
...have you ever experienced that "this will be easy" going out of hand? This is a good example of that!
I'll upload three maps just to show the progress!
It's going to be a huge camp next to a bigger city. The people in the camp doesn't want or can't afford to pay the taxes in the adjacent city, so they set up some tents outside and started to trade outside the city. More people followed and it eventually grew into a rather large place!
Left to do: Left side, waterhole, some heights and eventually a new border, some labels and that kind of stuff.

Looks great Hobbe!
Looking good. Like others have said, nice job on the tents, but, especially, nice job on the dirt tracks.

Thanks guys for the feedback! It's a fun map, but a bit repetitive.

And here is an update. I think the camp is done, but I'll add some modifications, some labels and stuff like that.

Looks really nice, I like all the little details and the vibe it got! Sadly, it looks a bit uniform over all and thus probably a little crowded. Maybe you can try to create some focus points? My eyes really didn't know where to look... =)
Also, crossroads tend to be really muddy if they are not regular streets with hard surface like stones. You could loosen up this crossroads in one big muddy place. =)

Visit me on ArtStation.
I agree with Steffen about the uniformity of the overall map.
I disagree with him about the muddy tracks: I love the way you've done those paths, and don't think they need any alteration.
One thing that does occur to me, though: presumably everybody in this entire camp is going to be going to that stream to collect water, right? The stream certainly would get rather muddy, I think.
Overall, great job.
