This is fantastic work, J. As usual! I'm just completely in awe of your art skills.

    Thank you ChickPea.
Time, patience and practice. I improve in some areas.
I'm getting better at this sort of thing but there's always room for improvement.
I realized it's easier when you draw the perspective view first and then do the map.

That's interesting. I'd almost have thought it would be the other way around, but there ya go! It's always interesting to get insights into how others work, and what they've learned through trial and error, so thanks for that.

I know what you mean ChickPea. When I did Bourmout that was what I was thinking too.
After Bourmout and Sagemound I realized that it was easier for me to look at a building in perspective and draw a map of it than it was for me to draw up a perspective view based on a map I'd already drawn. I could get into a lengthy discussion on why but don't have the time to just now.

Great work J. I will have to show some of your work when I teach elevation and plan rendering to my architectural students.

    That would be awesome Jay.
If you do, let me know. I have some other stuff that doesn't end up here on the Guild.

Beautifull pencil work and imaginatively constructed. I could have a rorkes drift type battle there.
