Map The Ring of Dratora (Regional Map)

This map was my first stab at mapmaking and I know there are things I have learnt and would change, but it's done now and overall I'm fairly pleased.

It was a fairly slow process, but mostly because I was learning as I went and practicising alongside. Great thanks to delgondahntelius for his tutorial on his ink-drawing process which very much inspired my own method. It was done with an initial pencil sketch version and then detailed with a dip pen and black ink.

The map is a about a quarter of a set of Isles in a D&D campaign I am part of.

Good job GLS! It has a pleasant "old map" feel to it.

This is really nice and a fantastic piece of work for your first map. Your mountains texture is quite unusual (to my untrained eyes) but it works really well.

    Great job all round!

    Thanks ChickPea!

The texture was one of the many delgondahntelius suggested in his tutorial on ink-drawing and I thought it had a nice effect so used it.
