Well I've been away for awhile but it looks like I made it back just in time to make some nominations of my own. Thanks to ChickPea, Diamond and all the other CLs who worked so diligently to bring this year's awards together. You have done a real service to the Guild.

I chose a couple for the categories I hadn't already nominated to, but discovered that others had already nominated them when I got there with my little list

...aaaand that's a wrap. Nominations are now closed! Over the next week I'll be putting together the voting threads. Since there aren't an overwhelming number of contenders in each category, the first post of each voting thread will contain thumbnail images of each nominee. I think it makes more sense to have it integrated like that, rather than try to figure out which thumbnail thread goes with what category.

Voting begins next Saturday evening at around 6PM Pacific time (give or take an hour or two). Voting will last for one week.

I expect that next year will be even more exciting, once we are all used to keeping an eye open for likely nominees through 2017, and we all have our little lists for nominations

My browser bookmarks for that event are already growing into a folder of their own.
