Looking really good now that it is all coming together.
Here's my next update. I worked a bit on the city itself and added a title to the map.

To make a new symbol catalogue...
It might be 5 years old, but Joe Sweeny's video taught me how to do it
Always best to use symbols from catalogues, rather than just pasting lots of png images into your map.
There is also an awesome section in the Tome, if you have it, which covers making all kinds of different symbols, including varicolour ones, and how to set up catalogues so that you can cycle through a set of different trees, for example - just like the ready made catalogues that come with CC3.
NB - the Joe Sweeny video resolution figures are a bit out, according to what it says in the Tome, but the method is the same
EDIT: I like the colour variation in the rooftops

This is looking great Hadrian. I've never been good at doing cities and am always in awe of those that can.
Thank you, Bogie, Sue and Nathan.
Unfortunately my work life just got in the way of mapping, so I am not sure, if I manage to finish it in time.
Hi, here's another WIP.

I think I should be able to finish the map by tomorrow. but I still have to fix a number of artifacts, finish the fields and add some more houses and details.
That's looking really neat
The things that are still most obviously missing are the scale, compass and labels, but I guess from the fact that you've carefully left so many obvious places for these things to go, that they are all part of the final stage

Thank you, Sue. I decided not to add scales and compasses for aesthetic reasons. Anyway, this is what I managed to get done.
