Map Count's Island - Seat of the Cartographers' Guild of Pīnor

Somebody told me I had to post this map here - I wonder why ...

In the 12th century AZ, the Count's Island off the coast of Pīnor was no longer a retreat for the elected counts of the Republic, but the seat of the Cartographers' Guild. The guild building itself could only be entered by them, but the island was also home to relatives and soldiers - and some sheep and chickens. The maps made and stored in the guild were invaluable to the Pīnorians. It was said that they knew more paths and currents than any other people and everywhere in the world the Pīnorians had their agents and spies whose knowledge directly benefited the guild and could be used by the navigators and traders.

    Cute!

... you have reminded me of an abandoned partly drawn island map from several years ago that I should dig out and finish!
